Master® Paper Plate SLM RIII |
SLM
RIII is a paper-based, photo direct plate capable of at least
10,000 impressions. It works in all analog platemakers designed
for silver plates and in 3M MR 412 and 417 units that have been
modified for Silver Master. (2 rolls per case/price per roll)

Master® Polyester Plate SLM FIII/100 |
SLM-FIII/100
has the same emulsion as RIII, but on a .004 polyester base. It
will not stretch and is excellent for two-color and carbonless
printing jobs, Press runs to 20,000. SLM-FIII/100 can be used in
all Mitsubishi Platemakers (except 324S, 414S, 414V, and 610),
Itek, and the Eskofot Silver Master platemakers. SLM-FIII/100

Silver Master® Chemistry
|
Mitsubishi
Silver Master chemistry is specially formulated to produce
consistent, dependable results with all Silver Master plate
materials.
 |
| Activator
SLM-AC |
| Dilute
Silver Master activator 1:1 with warm water for best results. AC
works best at 86o F. A bright silver image on a pure black
background indicates a properly developed plate. Use Silver
Master Test Chart (Item # 41-00569-001) to determine proper
exposure. |
| Stabilizer
SLM-ST |
| Stabilizer
is diluted 1:3 with water. |
| Etch
SLM-OH |
| Etch
is used undiluted and applied directly to the plate. The etch
facilitates rapid roll-up and provides for long runs. |
| Fountain
Solution SLM-OD |
| Fountain
solution is diluted 1:7 - 1:9 for moloton presses and 1:15 for
integrated fountain systems. Recommended pH is 5.5. OD will run
with metal plates as well. |
| Fountain
Solution Additive SLM-OA2 |
| Used
as an anti-toning additive where Silver Master plates are used.
Best for forms presses, large format sheet fed or web presses
when continuous dampering systems are used. Use in quantity
relative to 2% of volume of fountain solution. Increase fountain
solution with OA-2 to avoid foaming in large format auto fed
presses. |

Silver Digiplate SDP-RR is a polyethylene coated paper based
plate for use in a CTP system. It is perfect for imagesetters
adopting He-Ne and red laser diodes. Silver Digiplate SDP-RR is
designed with new technology that enables it to provide both
high-performance and easy use. |
| Features: |
|
Excellent
water receptivity and response.
Characteristics of the red-sensitive emulsion have a higher
contrast, thus enabling accurate reproduction of much finer
halftone sots. This means it is perfectly suited for units with
red laser diodes installed. |
| SDP-RD-125 |
| Mitsubishi's
Silver Digiplate SDP-RD is a polyethylene coated paper based
plate for use in a CTP system. It is perfect for imagesetters
adopting infrared laser diodes. The photographic characteristics
of the SDP-FD have higher contrast than the previous version,
SDP-RLD. |
| Features: |
|
The
photographic characteristics of the plate have a higher
contrast.
The water sensitivity and acceptability have also been improved,
making high-quality halftone printing possible and yielding
sharper images. |
| SDP-FR-100 |
| Mitsubishi's
Silver Digiplate SDP-FR is a polyester film based plate for use
in a CTP system. It is perfect for imagesetters adopting He-Ne
and red laser diodes. SDP-FR is much more suited for usage with
red laser diodes than the previous version, SDP-FHN. |
| Features: |
| |
Characteristics
of the red-sensitive emulsion have a higher contrast, thus
enabling accurate reproduction of much finer halftone dots. This
means it is perfectly suited for units with red laser diodes
installed. |
| SDP-FD-100 |
| Mitsubishi's
Silver Digiplate SDP-FD is a polyester film based plate for use
in a CTP system. It is perfect for imagesetters adopting
infra-red laser diodes. The photographic characters of the SDP-FD
have a higher contrast than the previous version, SDP-FLD. |
