The Ionix Static Eliminator

It is designed to eliminate static in materials in sheet feeding air separator mechanisms in sheet fed offset, screen presses, die cutters, laminators, as well as folders and bindery equipment. Wide Range of Applications
Ionix Static Eliminators are installed in the auto feeders of screen presses such as Sakuri or General auto feed. The Ionix Static Eliminator eliminates static feeding problems feeding polycarbs, polyester or any other plastic materials in the screen press feeder. It is primarily recommended for auto feeders.
How It Works
Due to friction and movement, plastic develops an electrical field between the sheets which causes them to attract. The Ionix Static Eliminator uses the air going to the feeder to eliminate that field. When feeder blower air passes through the Ionix Static Eliminator, the air is made electrically dissipative or conductive. When that Ionix treated air is then blown between the sheets of plastic by the feeder, the charged sheets can discharge their charge through the Ionix air and the sheets electrically separate. Any plastic materials will run easier–and faster–because it is made “slippery” electrically.

Easy to Install
Anyone can install the Ionix Static Eliminator in less than 10 minutes on any air line. Simply cut the blow line between the compressor and the blow holes in the equipment, and insert the cut hose over the barbed nipple ends of the unit.
Unconditionally Guaranteed
The Ionix Static Eliminator is unconditionally guaranteed to perform for 30 days in the equipment for which it is designed and sold. The Ionix Static Eliminator is guaranteed for 6 months of normal use when installed in the equipment for which it is designed and sold, and running paper. Replacement is recommended after one year.
Sizing
At a point as far away from the feeder pump as possible but before any lines tee off, identify a convenient point to install the Ionix on the main blower air line going from the feeder pump to the feeder. Measure the inside diameter of the line. Order 1 Model 300 for presses with a feeder capacity up to 19" x 25" and 2 Model 300 for presses with a feeder capacity up to 26" x 40".
Easy Replacement
Once you have installed an Ionix, you simply replace the Ionix once a year. The Ionix Model Number is located on the bottom right corner of the Ionix label on the unit and is written in red.
