The Olden Enterprise Batch Counter
Model BC $895.00 |
 |
...is a 7 digit
total counter, two rate meters and job time display in one compact
easy to operate unit. 4 digit max batch size. |
| This counter is
used anywhere fast and
accurate counting and batching is desired. Because of its versatility, uses include
folders, stitchers, inserters, mailing, |
|
|
| labeling and packaging machines. It eliminates hand counting or
estimating for boxing and wrapping operations. |
The Batch Counter is very easy to operate. It uses only 3 keys to control all
functions. Pushing one key changes the display to one of 4 different screens as shown
above. The display is a large, bright and easy to read back-lit LCD. It is a true
alpha-numeric display --- it reads out in words and numbers ---
there are no hard to read arrows, dots and dashes to interpret. Results are exact and easy
to read. |
The Batch Counter will total count up to 9,999,999 pieces and batch sizes up to
9,999 can be preset. The batching function can be easily turned off if desired. As a rate
meter, it has two different tach functions showing both present and average production
speeds. A display of running time shows the total production time for a job. |
The Batch Counter receives its input from an infrared reflective sensor that is a
very small (about the size of a large postage stamp) and easy to install. The unit can
also be operated by switch or relay contact closure. The output for batching is a signal
that operates a vacuum valve or other devices. The batch delay can be set from 0.1 to 9.9
seconds, with batch counting up or down by operator choice. |

Optional Mounts
|
The Batch Counter is compact and easy to install. The counter is enclosed in a
rugged shock-proof case. The front panel is of specially coated Lexan that is splash-proof
and dust proof. The Batch Counter is supplied with a mounting bracket, sensor and output
cable. It can be ordered with or without a vacuum valve. |
The Batch Counter is microprocessor controlled for the greatest reliability and
accuracy. A memory system that needs no battery retains all production information and
operator settings. Olden Enterprises has been involved in building counters for the
printing industry for almost twenty years and maintains its record for exceptional
reliability by bench-testing all counters for 100 hours. The warranty is one year parts
and labor. |
